Look at it pour!<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not going out in that storm. It&#8217;s <strong>raining cats and dogs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>-g<strong>et all wet<\/strong><br \/>\ncompletely wet<br \/>\ne.g.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s true! The dress <strong>got all wet<\/strong>.<br \/>\nYou <strong>got all wet<\/strong>, Opal.<br \/>\nI missed the bus and had to walk home. What&#8217;s more, it was raining and <strong>I got all wet<\/strong>.<br \/>\nI fell in and <strong>got all wet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>drench<\/strong><br \/>\ncompletely wet<br \/>\ne.g.<br \/>\nThe man was <strong>drenched<\/strong> to the skin.<br \/>\nWe were <strong>drenched <\/strong>by the sudden rainstorm.<br \/>\nIt was raining and I was <strong>drenched<\/strong> when I got home .<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>soaking wet<\/strong><br \/>\nextremely wet with water or another liquid<br \/>\na way of describing someone whose clothes have gotten wet through and through.
