Objectives: Students Will Be Able To (SWBAT)……

  • SWBAT learn how to buy a postcard with stamp in the post office.
  • SWBAT learn how to write address and message.
  • SWBAT learn the steps of mailing a postcard/letter in the post office.

Sentence patterns or dialogue:

  • Buying a postcard with stamp at the post office

Postal worker (P) and Customer (C)

P: How may I help you?

C: I would like to buy a postcard with stamp, please.

P: Where do you want to send the postcard?

C: I would like to send it to Japan/U.S.A.  How much is it?

P: It’s 10 /20 dollars.

C: Here you are.

P: Here is your postcard.

C: Thank you.

P: How would you like to send it?

C: I would like to send it by air, please.

P: Please put it in the mailbox.
