\u3000\u3000E<\/strong>very religion has special celebrations and ceremonies throughout the year. For Jewish people,\u00a0Passover\u00a0is one of the most important festivals of the year. Itlasts\u00a0for seven or eight days and is celebrated mainly at home with family and friends. It is a time to remember how the\u00a0Israelites\u00a0left a life of slavery in Egypt over 3,000 years ago. The Israelites are the\u00a0ancestors\u00a0of the Jewish people, so Passover celebrations\u00a0are bursting with\u00a0traditions and old stories.
\nThe story of Passover goes\u00a0way back\u00a0to when the Israelites were being held as slaves in Egypt. Moses was chosen by God to help\u00a0free\u00a0them and find a land of their own. He frequently asked the\u00a0Pharaoh\u00a0of Egypt to let the Israelites go, and each time he was\u00a0refused. Therefore, God told Moses he was going to\u00a0hit\u00a0Egypt with 10\u00a0plagues. The first one involved water turning to blood. This was followed by the coming of frogs,\u00a0gnats, and flies. After that, farm animals died, people gotboils,\u00a0hail\u00a0poured down,\u00a0locusts\u00a0ate everything, and then darkness came. The final plague was the\u00a0firstborn\u00a0child dying. God told the Israelites to put lamb’s blood on their doors so that they would be passed over and their children kept safe.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\u3000\u3000\u6bcf\u500b\u5b97\u6559\u5728\u4e00\u6574\u5e74\u4e2d\uff0c\u90fd\u6709\u5404\u7a2e\u7279\u6b8a\u7684\u6176\u5178\u8207\u5100\u5f0f\u3002\u5c0d\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u4f86\u8aaa\uff0c\u903e\u8d8a\u7bc0\u662f\u4e00\u5e74\u4e2d\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u7bc0\u6176\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u9019\u500b\u7bc0\u65e5\u6703\u6301\u7e8c\u4e03\u81f3\u516b\u5929\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u4e3b\u8981\u90fd\u662f\u548c\u89aa\u670b\u597d\u53cb\u5011\u4e00\u8d77\u5728\u5bb6\u6176\u795d\u3002\u9019\u500b\u6642\u7bc0\u662f\u7528\u4f86\u7dec\u61f7\u53e4\u4ee5\u8272\u5217\u4eba\u5728\u4e09\u5343\u591a\u5e74\u524d\u5982\u4f55\u812b\u96e2\u5728\u57c3\u53ca\u7684\u5974\u96b8\u751f\u6d3b\u3002\u53e4\u4ee5\u8272\u5217\u4eba\u5c31\u662f\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u7956\u5148\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u903e\u8d8a\u7bc0\u7684\u6176\u795d\u6d3b\u52d5\u5145\u6eff\u4e86\u50b3\u7d71\u4ee5\u53ca\u53e4\u8001\u50b3\u8aaa\u7684\u8272\u5f69\u3002
